What a great idea Annie…I love the simplicity of this, and the colours are gorgeous…another side of autumn that we forget – looking down – when we are all so busy looking up!
I tried getting shots of blue jays and cardinals in the rain! I hid under a tree. But the lighting was so poor, they didn’t turn out too great. But I had fun anyway!
I always have fun no matter what, simply because I LOVE taking photos too much… My only concern in bad weather is damaging my equipment – that would be the only downside to any photo walk. And I always hope for good light 😉

Thanks James, I like to have fun with my camera. When you go on the same route every day you need to look for originality and creativity all the time.
